天龙八部慕容复是怎么疯的

　　慕容复、四大家臣、王语嫣一行人误闯万仙大会上，一度与三十六洞洞主、七十二岛岛主大战，一百零八个高手之中，有四个在混战中为慕容复所杀，后因蛟王不平道人、剑神卓不凡和芙蓉仙子崔绿华的出现而停止争战。逍遥派掌门虚竹负著天山缥缈峰灵鹫宫主人天山童姥从数百丈高处下坠时，慕容复以斗转星移功夫将下坠之力化去大半，并改直为横，将二人震得横飞出去。来到少室山后，慕容复再与丁春秋展开激烈交战。上山后，为了争取武林盟主之位，一度与聚贤庄少庄主游坦之夹击大辽南院大王萧峰，且在发招出掌之际暗留内力，旁人谁也瞧不出来。
　　不久，与段誉大战，最后被六脉神剑打得全无还手余地。又因王语嫣一言而得对方容让，慕容复震怒，使判官笔突袭段誉，却反被段誉义兄萧峰背袭，自此威名扫地，于己之自尊心有一定的打击，后来重逢了生父慕容博。在西夏求亲时，为了驸马之位甘心让王语嫣投井，随后被发狂的吐蕃大轮寺鸠摩智明王乱击打倒，遭投入枯井，用计逃出后，杀了阻人求亲的吐蕃武士，进入西夏皇宫的青凰阁求亲，却被虚竹得获银川公主李清露的青睐。
　　在曼陀罗山庄，拜四大恶人之首恶贯满盈段延庆为义父时，为了大理皇帝之位，宁可杀了家臣包不同而圆大梦，最后众叛亲离，千方百计条条不成，以至于精神失常。在三联版中，王语嫣与段誉同归大理时见到，见到发了疯的慕容复陷入自己的皇帝梦中，阿碧也一直守候在其身旁。在新修版中，王语嫣回到慕容复身边，和阿碧一同照顾发疯的慕容复。
　　在整个天龙八部里，北乔峰，南慕容是最让我扼腕的人物，但南慕容更令人叹息。乔峰虽然英年早逝，到底死得英雄，在武林正道中也算名垂千古。慕容复虽然没死，却心智失常。心智失常难道不比死更加凄惨么？更何况，他的心智失常只怕不能得到世人的怜悯，却遭到世人的耻笑。想他一生何等风流人物，竟落得如此下场，不知他偶尔灵光一现时，会不会心如刀割？而那个忠心耿耿的阿碧，只怕会天天暗自垂泪，黯然神伤。
　　周仲强：当这种荒诞的理念，经过小说舒缓的叙述后，慕容复变得一无所有，只能在南国的小树林里过家家，延续旧有的帝皇梦想，唤起他继往人生的勇气在这里，金庸再一次用他的如椽大笔，浓墨重彩地给慕容复画上宿命两字，当复国成为海市蜃楼时，慕容复输掉的不仅是王位，而且输掉爱情、亲情、友情，最后把自己也输给段延庆。
　　后来慕容复逢人就说他是皇上，为了避免杀身之祸，阿碧对外宣称这是她家公子爷的名字黄裳。就像后来的欧阳锋一样，慕容复是有时清醒有时糊涂，但即使是清醒的时候他也总是想不起来自己是谁，只好接受了自己是黄裳这个设定。由于深受之前被萧峰段誉击败的打击，慕容复弃武从文，由于先前本身文化底子很好，他竟然顺利考取功名进入朝廷。精神失常并没有使他的智力受到影响，甚至因为心无旁骛变得更加专注了。（以下情节来自周伯通口述）在一个偶然的机会里，慕容复被皇帝征召编写道藏，得到了研读天下道家典籍的机会。在读道家典籍的过程中，慕容复接触到了许多神妙的武学秘籍，他渐渐回忆起了自己的武功。而且他的心性也随着修行而改变，在先前的武学基础上突飞猛进，成为世间第一高手，自己却没有意识到。但他始终回想不起自己曾经的身份和事迹，依然以黄裳的身份活着。就这样过了很多年，直到方腊为首的明教起兵作乱，慕容复作为朝廷官员带兵征剿。（《天龙八部》时代为10901094年，而方腊起兵是1120年，此时慕容复已是五十岁大叔）战场上官军大败，但慕容复亲自出手和对方首脑决斗，明教高层团灭。这些人的同门弟子、江湖朋友随之来报仇，并杀死了慕容复家眷（别问我他家眷是谁）。慕容复怀恨闭关，研究破解那些仇家武功的办法。出关后，却发现已经过去了四十多年，那些仇家已经都过世了，而慕容复自己也已经是百岁老人。于是慕容复大彻大悟，放下了所有仇恨，将自己毕生所学写成一部《九阴真经》，藏之名山，传于后人。
