　　在金大侠笔下的歹毒女性群像中，最淫荡最恶毒的当首推康敏。康敏心理变态型，又有强烈的自我中心感和疯狂的自私性格，用她自己的话来说：我得不到的东西别人也休想得到风流倜傥的大理国王爷段正淳和为国为民的丐帮帮主萧大侠萧峰均在这女人手下吃过不少苦头，很多人一想到她就头皮起疙瘩；至于她丈夫丐帮的九袋长老马长老马士元，更是惨死在这个恶妇手上。
　　这个叫做康敏的毒妇，自称是马门温氏，金大侠在书中称她为马夫人，与她通奸过的情人有人昵称她小康，又有人叫她贱人淫妇。其实，马夫人小康这两个称呼用在她康敏身上，便不由自主地生出一种成熟妇人的旖旎风情和腻语温香来。正是由于她擅长撒娇装乖和巧计拨弄，绝世的乔峰和温婉的阿朱这一对璧人被她生生拆撒，终使二人的塞上牧羊之约成为悲情的空许。因为这一点，我想大多数读者都不会原谅这位心性歹毒的马夫人康敏的。
　　对于康敏这个角色的描摹，金大侠显然很用了一番心思。虽然着墨不多，但字里行间可以看得出大侠的匠心独运。从马夫人的言行来看，如果男人们不被她外貌和装出的温情所迷惑，康敏的那种行事的风格和歹毒性格分明是让人极度厌憎的，她淫荡，她狠毒，加以天性薄凉：爱她的男子她瞧之不起，不爱她的男子她衔恨入骨，更为歹毒的是，她爱的男子如果她得不到，也宁可毁了也绝不留给别人。可她容颜言语又偏偏温婉柔媚到了极处，也腻到了极处，令在她面前的男人们神不守舍，销魂腐骨。如果马夫人最终不是被几个恨她到极处的女人所复仇，我简直真真想不出，还有哪一个男人会忍心下手杀了如此一个温婉妩媚的尤物？
　　在烛畔鬓云有旧盟一节中，马夫人曾经讲了一个短短的故事。她告诉人们：一个穷人家的小姑娘，因为得不到自己梦想的新衣，便在除夕之夜偷偷将邻家姑娘的新衣撕剪成碎片，而且心中洋溢着一股说不出的复仇后的欢喜，比自己有新衣服穿还要痛快。段正淳当时听了颇为不快，因为，养尊处优予取予求如他者，想必永远不能去体味这是怎样的一种心态，这究竟只是女性的嫉妒，抑或是弱者的迁怒与反扑？他情欲氤氲，心中所思的只是旧梦重温。所以，即使被康敏恶狠狠的报复之时，他仍然心存侥幸，以为康敏只是跟她闹着玩儿。
　　要勾勒出这样一个女子的形象实在不太容易。我们不妨用小说中的一些片断，来勾勒出马夫人十七岁时的绝代风华的样子。我们知道，小户人家出身的康敏，那时虽是荆钗布裙，但明眸善睐，皓齿姻蕴，她乌黑的头发上簪了一朵茉莉花，或许是白色的，或许是紫色的，但一定透着一股诱人的幽香，处处风流的大理段二，就这样将一个少女的情爱与纯真轻易攫取而去。枕席之间，赌咒如戏。她的段郎跟她虽有枕席间的山盟海誓，但却转首成空，大理段郎依旧处处留情，风流成性。
　　然而，对于康敏这样一个一心想嫁入豪门的女子而言，段郎的负约更是激发了她心中的恶念。一个女人最可宝贵的是爱情，爱情被玷污了，她要复仇，因此便不顾一切开始了她最为疯狂的复仇：无辜的马长老、绝世的乔大侠，都成了她恶意复仇过程中牺牲品。温婉可爱的阿朱也在她的恶计中无辜丧命。
　　康敏不同于段正淳的其他情人，甚至不同于金庸笔下其他被玩弄始乱终弃的女性角色，马夫人的复仇之箭本应直接指向是段正淳本身，那个真正伤害她背弃她的情人，而不应该伤害那么多同为弱者的情敌。但她在复仇的过程中却伤天害理地伤害了无辜的他人。

　　她与段正淳之间的记忆载体和李青萝类似，都是花，不同的是李青萝的花是山茶，而康敏的花是茉莉，小康，你过来，给我闻闻你头上那朵茉莉花香不香？这一句话就结下了一道孽缘。和其她的情妇一样，康敏也无法对段郎忘情，但她心狠手辣。可谓最毒妇人心的最佳代言人。性格偏激，阴暗，她从幼时就有自己得不到的东西，宁可亲手毁了，也不让别人得到的想法，应该有一定程度的心理疾病。
　　她自负美貌（连萧峰都承认她艳媚入骨），所以憎恨正眼都不瞧自己半眼的乔峰乔帮主，于是她串谋奸夫白世镜杀死马大元，利用全冠清，在杏子林中让嫁祸乔峰，揭穿乔峰身世，使萧峰身败名裂。故意指引萧峰和阿朱找上段正淳，借刀杀人。最后自作孽不可活，一生自负的美貌惨遭阿紫毁容，绝望之极忧愤而死。
