包惜弱的性格特点造就了杨康的顽劣

　　丘处机一直没把杨康带出王府，这就是极为不合理之处，丘道长是这么解释的：
　　贫道也曾试过他几次口风，见他贪恋富贵，不是性情中人，是以始终不曾点被。几次教诲他为人立身之道，这小子只是油腔滑调的对我敷衍。若不是和七位有约，贫道哪有这耐心跟他穷耗？本待让他与郭家小世兄较艺之后，不论谁胜谁败，咱们双方和好，然后对那小子说明他的身世，接他母亲出来，择地隐居。
　　丘道长这套说辞实在是牵强的很，正因杨康品质不太好，才更应该立马接出赵王府，好好教养才是。既然不能出淤泥而不染，才更应该脱离淤泥，放到好的环境里去啊！
　　但金庸是这么写的，咱也就这么看吧，不较这个真。但从丘处机的话，可以看出，对于没教育好杨康，丘处机确实负有一定责任。其一，丘处机缺乏耐心，态度不够真诚，贫道哪有这耐心跟他穷耗？，这点跟江南七怪比就差远了；其二，正因态度不够认真，导致失察。丘处机看来，杨康的毛病是贪恋富贵、油腔滑调，而实际上杨康的人品要比这坏的多，但杨康一直在丘处机面前装好人，丘处机没有看透。
　　但丘处机依然几次教诲他为人立身之道，也算是尽了一些为人师的责任。
　　我们看看包氏王妃出场以来的表现。
　　突然西边一阵喝道之声，十几名军汉健仆手执藤条，向两边乱打，驱逐闲人。众人纷纷往两旁让道。只见转角处六名壮汉抬着一顶绣金红呢大轿过来。
　　这就是王妃的出场，标准的欺压百姓作威作福的恶霸派头。包惜弱在王府时间长了，养尊处优、颐指气使，已然习惯了高高在上的贵族派头。
　　（不过郭靖把乱打百姓的军汉也教训一顿：
　　郭靖夺过藤条，在他背上刷刷刷三鞭，喝道：谁叫你乱打人？
　　旁观的百姓先前有多人曾被众军汉藤条打中，这时见郭靖以其人之道还治其人之身，无不暗暗称快。其余十几名军汉高声叫骂，抢上去救援同伴，被郭靖一双双的提起，扔了出去。）
　　包王妃来的目的，不是要批评杨康，阻止他欺男霸女，而是担心杨康吃亏。故此，一开始郭靖处于下风，被杨康摔了好几跤，包王妃就不动声色的在一边看热闹。直到双方动了兵器，太危险了，她才喝令停手。如果不是王处一出手，郭靖已经被彭连虎废了。
　　接下来就看看王府里包惜弱和杨康的对话。
　　完颜康走到她身旁，拉住她手道：妈，你又不舒服了吗？那女子叹了口气道：还不是为你眈心？完颜康靠在她身边，笑道：儿子不是好好地在这里吗？又没少了半个脚趾头。说话神情，全是在撒娇。那女子道：眼也肿了，鼻子也破了，还说好好地？你这样胡闹，你爹知道了倒也没甚么，要是给你师父听到风声，可不得了。
　　包惜弱一是担心杨康出事，二是担心丘处机责罚。这事明明是杨康以小王爷身份欺男霸女，包惜弱丝毫没批评他，没对他进行品德教育，反而担心他受罚。如果没有丘处机这个师父，那杨康的胡闹就没甚么了。包惜弱知道完颜洪烈也不是啥好人，一丘之貉，自然不会因此处罚杨康。
　　完颜康道：妈你不懂的，这种江湖上的人才不希罕银子呢。要是放了出去，他们在外宣扬，怎不传进师父的耳里？那女子急道：难道你要关他们一世？完颜康笑道：我说些好话，把他们骗回家乡，叫他们死心塌地的等我一辈子。说着哈哈大笑。
　　杨康的此段话尽显其卑劣人品，激怒了偷听的郭靖，不是黄蓉阻止的话当场就发作了。然而善良的包王妃听了没甚么大反应。
　　完颜康笑道：妈，还有一桩笑话儿呢。那姓穆的说要见你，和你当面说明了，他才相信。那女子道：我才不帮你骗人呢，做这种缺德事。
　　包惜弱打算自己偷偷地把穆家妇女放了，想法是不错，但是为啥要给杨康善后，而不是当面好好教训杨康，让他改正错误呢？？包惜弱这话岂不是说，我不帮你骗，要骗你自己骗去！
　　从以上看来，包惜弱完全是一个不称职的母亲。若换了郭靖办了坏事，李萍早大耳刮子抽上了。
　　然而她却不知道自己溺爱的儿子，竟然会用权谋之术对付她，真是悲哀啊！
