　　这时候裘千仞只能是垂死挣扎，打不过他就开始讲大道理，他说你们为什么要来伤我。这些人都表示他是一个大恶人，杀人办坏事，所以杀了是天经地义的事情。裘千仞实在想不出什么话说，就说那你们找一位杀我，这个人要没做过坏事，没有伤过人性命，如果有这样的人，我就愿意死在他的刀下。

　　下面我们就来看看。原著里是这样说的，裘千仞没有参加第一次的论剑。本来是因为铁掌帮很厉害，挫了衡山派，把尼姑们打得元气大伤，王老道等人觉得裘千仞是一位人物，想要请他去，可是在第一次论剑的时候他自己觉得打不过王重阳老道和段皇帝，他们的武功专门克制他的武功，于是去闭关了。
　　这一闭关修炼就是十几年，期间他还干了一件坏事：他想为自己铲除一个敌人，于是就去云南，大理王宫，伤了刘瑛的孩子。伤贵妃的孩子不是目的，目的是伤害段皇帝，段皇帝为了救自己的孩子，就会把自己珍贵的内力输送出去，这样一来一时就没有能力能和他抗衡。可是他不知道这个孩子不是段皇帝亲生的，所以段皇帝最后没有施救也就没有耗费内力。这时候王重阳老道闭关修炼，他以为自己必能赢来武林盟主。结果第二次华山他去了，被大家逼到悬崖边上，差一点被众人合力绞杀。如果不是他当年不惜动用阴招也要打压的一灯帮他指了明路，他可能不仅仅是出家这么简单，命也许都没有了。
