一灯大师救黄蓉的故事情节

　　郭靖和黄蓉赶路，看见一位渔夫，而这渔夫一边钓鱼，一边挡路。黄蓉明白，这个渔夫便是渔樵耕读里的渔。渔夫称他在钓金娃娃鱼，黄蓉便让郭靖帮自己在河里抓上一只金娃娃鱼。渔夫见黄蓉手中有金娃娃鱼开心不已，疏于防备让郭靖和黄蓉过了河。郭靖和黄蓉来到半山，遇见一樵夫，但樵夫只顾着绑柴火，并没有怎么注意郭靖和黄蓉。黄蓉明白，樵夫心中肯定在想，他们能到这里，是渔夫同意的，因此樵夫便对他们没有戒备之心。所以他们只需想办法讨樵夫欢心，这样樵夫便能放他们过去。
　　郭靖和黄蓉好不容易来到山顶，遇一位耕田的大叔正顶着一块巨石。大叔称，若不举着巨石，巨石滚下便会砸到牛。郭靖好心帮大叔顶着巨石，可大叔却要害郭靖，因为大叔知道他们是来找师傅治病的，因此必须拦着他们。可黄蓉耍了大叔，黄蓉和郭靖过了大叔这关。郭靖和黄蓉继续赶路，遇到一位夫子。黄蓉成功对出夫子要求对的对子，和郭靖两人终于过关，来到寺庙。
　　郭靖告诉扫地僧，他们此番前来是找段皇爷。扫地僧称段皇爷早就不在尘世，郭靖和黄蓉听了难过不已。郭靖打算马上背着黄蓉下山，找天下名医为黄蓉治病。但黄蓉不愿意下山，让郭靖陪自己在寺庙了断此生。郭靖听了非常难受，紧紧地抱住了黄蓉。
　　郭靖输真气为黄蓉疗伤，黄蓉拒绝，因为知道没有用的，再说输真气对郭靖的身体是一种损害。可为了黄蓉，郭靖做什么都愿意。但黄蓉的身子愈发的虚弱，最终口吐鲜血晕了过去。下着大雨，郭靖跪在外面，他知道黄蓉向来顽皮，但却从来没有做过伤天害理的事。郭靖恳请老天爷给黄蓉一线生机，就算是要一命换一命，郭靖也愿意替黄蓉而死。郭靖跪了整整一夜，第二天一早，一灯大师来到郭靖身边。一灯大师说他就是郭靖要找的段皇爷，郭靖不解，可是扫地僧明明说段皇爷离开尘世了。一灯大师解释，段皇爷已经离开尘世，现在世上只有一灯。郭靖跪着爬向一灯大师，恳请一灯大师救救黄蓉。
　　郭靖将锦囊里的那幅画给了一灯大师，一灯大师明白，瑛姑这是担心他不愿医治黄蓉，故意画那幅画激他。一灯大师为黄蓉把脉，发现黄蓉的伤至五脏，气血郁结。一灯大师交代郭靖在门口守着，不能让任何人进来，因为这关系到黄蓉的性命。经过一灯大师的治疗，黄蓉的伤好了，休息一两天时间就能痊愈。可一灯大师因帮黄蓉疗伤武功全失，需要五年的时间才能恢复。
　　瑛姑用佛家的故事来激一灯大师为黄蓉治伤，郭靖觉得她此举甚是狠毒，不仅用佛家的故事害人，还想嫁祸给黄蓉。一灯大师倒是不怪瑛姑，毕竟她恨透了他，用什么害他都不足为怪。
　　一灯大师和瑛姑的恩怨始于当年的华山论剑，全真派王真人自知旧疾已犯，担心没人能克制西毒欧阳锋抢夺九阴真经，便带着师弟周伯通去了大理，当时的一灯大师也就是段皇爷与王真人闭关，互传一阳指与先天功。而周伯通生性天真烂漫，不知男女之防，整日在宫中东游西逛，终于闯出了事端。
　　当年，周伯通在宫中练功。当时还是刘贵妃的瑛姑在后宫闲来无事，又对武功很感兴趣，周伯通好心教她点穴，却不知这门功夫除了父女、母子，从来都是男师不传女徒，女师不传男徒，男女授受不亲，若非周身穴道一一摸到，这门功夫是无法传授的。
　　听到此，黄蓉不由地觉得老顽童还真是不知分寸，简直就是胡闹。一灯大师话说的有些多了，忍不住咳了几声，黄蓉急忙拿出九花玉露丸给他。一灯大师刚吃下去，就面露难受之色。渔樵耕读几位弟子见此，怀疑郭靖黄蓉加害师父，个个义愤填膺。黄蓉这时已经意识到是瑛姑的计谋，也难怪叮嘱她不能再吃九花玉露丸。
　　一灯大师无碍，缓了一下，继续讲述。当年，周伯通与刘贵妃偷尝禁果，周伯通事后才得知刘贵妃身份，他觉得君子不夺人所爱，虽然段皇爷答应成全他们，但他还是狠心抛下刘贵妃，临走之前将她送的鸳鸯锦帕还回去。
　　周伯通离开之后，段皇爷不再召见刘贵妃，但在心里却还记挂着她，一天晚上再也按耐不住，悄悄去了刘贵妃寝宫，但他刚到寝宫屋顶就听到一阵儿啼之声，夜寒霜重，他竟呆呆地在屋顶待了一夜，大病一场。之后的一天，刘贵妃的孩子被蒙面人打伤，她抱着孩子去找段皇爷求救，但那孩子已经经脉尽断，要救他，他就要耗费大量元气，日后华山二次论剑他就再无可能夺冠，九阴真机也就无缘得见，内心挣扎一番，他还是觉得出手救人。
　　打开孩子裹着孩子的毯子，竟然看到了鸳鸯锦帕，那是刘贵妃和周伯通的定情信物，段皇爷此时再也生不起怜悯之心。孩子在床上哭得撕心裂肺，刘贵妃被他点了穴道跪在地上，只能眼睁睁地看着孩子受苦，刹那间，她的一头黑发悉数变白，段皇爷只好解了她的穴道。
　　刘贵妃自知孩子已经无救，竟然拿出匕首直接结束了他的生命，她做事决绝，放言总有一日，那把匕首也会插在段皇爷的心口上。那天之后，段皇爷不吃不喝三天三夜，终于看破红尘，带着渔樵耕读四人隐居于此。
