天龙八部中萧远山多次杀人为何嫁祸给萧峰

　　《天龙八部》刚开始，萧远山带妻儿回雁门关探亲时，被慕容博陷害，遭到中原武林高手伏击，萧远山以一己之力打败一众中原武林高手，因妻子被杀，痛不欲生，殉情跳崖自杀，留下孤儿萧峰。
　　萧峰长大成人后，知晓身世，查找当年带头大哥，萧远山暗中跟随，多次出手相助，救萧峰于困境，但同时也在萧峰查明真像之前，击葬了谭公、谭婆、玄苦、乔三槐夫妇、赵钱孙、单正等人，令中原武林人士都认为是萧峰所为，使萧峰蒙受不白之冤。萧远山为什么这么做？小编认为有以下三点原因：
　　一是暂时不让萧峰知道真相，让萧峰对追求真相的欲望更强烈，变相的也更增加萧峰对仇人的憎恨，有利于日后帮助萧远山复仇。
　　二是萧远山十分了解儿子的性格。萧峰大仁大义，如证人说出了带头大哥的身份是玄慈方丈。萧峰该如何处置？杀与不杀，左右为难。如果和尚说自己当年被蒙蔽，萧峰原谅了和尚，这是萧远山不愿意看到的。如果杀了玄慈和尚，那么萧远山就没有让玄慈和尚身败名裂的终极复仇。正所谓时机还未成熟，不能让萧峰过早找到带头大哥。
　　三是为了离间萧峰与汉人间的关系，将其逼会契丹族，为日后大辽所用，从扫地僧出面那集慕容博游说萧峰远山父子时就不难看出，其实萧远山确实为之所动，说明在他心中宋辽不两立，大有复仇之意。
　　萧远山小说中的评价
　　儿子萧峰是峰，父亲是远山，名字改得甚妙。有其子必有其父，萧峰魁梧神勇，萧远山亦然，但比起萧峰，萧远山多了一股狠劲蛮横，又更加凶猛。他自救走萧峰，声势夺人，恰似飞将军从天而降，他扮马大元的鬼魂，扼死白世镜，揭破马夫人康敏的杀夫嫁祸阴谋，两次都是黑衣蒙面。一直至少林寺内，他才露出本来面目，这时读者才知道他是萧峰的父亲，知道他并没有在雁门关外自杀身亡。萧远山是忠是奸，不是个易答的问题。他未现身之前，只听到他的故事，令人感到他是惨被奸谋所害的一条好汉，他在雁门关外，奋力保护妻儿，终于寡不敌众，悲愤留言石壁之后，抱着妻儿尸首投崖，惨剧在三十年后由目击者智光大师叙述出来，使人感到恻然不忍，又复骇然。他既已纵身下跳，半途发现儿子活看，不忍要他同死，奋力将他回掷崖上，这个动作，表露了他的爱子情深，也表现出他的过人武功和机智。这样的一个人物无端被害，怎不令人感到不平！更何况他自杀的部分原因，是自愧破了不杀南朝汉人的誓言。但是意外生还的萧远山，心态却完全改变。他以为自己一家三口要一同死去，是又悲又愧，但发现儿子活着，自己也活着，反而变的充满仇恨，因为他发现了原来惨剧是有人策划出来的。萧远山的报仇手段可谓既凶且蛮，他故意潜入少林，把武功典籍偷看了个遍，查出真相之后，杀不成主谋的慕容博，便一连杀死谭公、谭婆、玄苦，甚至连不懂武功、无辜的乔三槐夫妇也死在他掌下。他不急于与萧峰团聚，却恣意杀害萧峰追寻的人，使他蒙冤，竟是基于一种你冤枉了我，我偏做给你看的偏激，制造原因使萧峰蒙冤，似乎旨在证明南朝汉人很会冤枉人。
